Mechanical Engineering Technician - Austral
At Multiquip, we are dedicated to serving the poultry industry in Australia. Our focus lies in the safe transportation of live birds from breeder farms to processing plants. As a vital part of this process, we are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineering Technician to join our team on a full-time basis.
In this position, you'll collaborate closely with our workshop team with the following:
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance of plant and equipment and other mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
- Installation / relocation of plant and equipment as required(old/new)
- Overhauling and reconditioning machinery and equipment
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Assisting all maintenance staff on other rmaintenance duties when required
- Following all Company policies and procedures at all times
- Ensuring all Work Health and Safety regulations are actioned at all time.
- Timely repairs assessing and prioritizing breakdown service periods.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or related field
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
