Mechanical Fitter | Power Generation
UGL Industrials have an opportunity for Mechanical Fitters with power station experience to join our on-site maintenance team. This position will support the site in the day-to-day maintenance activities over a 4 day week (36hrs). You will have the option to participate in outages for additional overtime and development opportunities.
This position is a residential role with no living away from home provisions or facility for non-local employees. Local applicants from the Rockhampton region are strongly encouraged to apply.

To be considered for the role, ideally you will possess the following skills, experience and attributes:
Previous experience working on a power station preferred
Australian Recognised Trade Certificate – Mechanical Fitter, Fitter or Fitter & Turner
Construction Industry Induction (white / blue card)
High risk work licence – LF, WP preferred but not essential
Nationally accredited Working at Heights certification valid within 3 years
Nationally accredited Confined Space certification valid within 3 years
Driver’s Licence
Ability to work effectively in a small team
High levels of attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Great time management skills
