The role

We are seeking a qualified and motivated Mechanical Fitter to join our client who is one of the major mining companies. The role involves being responsible with assisting with Ore Car and Locomotive Maintenance. 

The successful candidate will have the following licenses/ tickets and qualifications:

• Mechanical Trade 
• Current C class drivers licence 
• HRWL: RG, DG, LF
• Ability to pass a full medical and drug and alcohol screen 

As part of the role, your main responsibilities and experience will include but aren’t limited too:

• Rolling Stock experience
• Ore Car and Locomotive experience
• Strong focus on safety
• Ability to ensure procedures are followed always
• Maintenance environments and Breakdown/Fault finding experiences in industrials & automations, process control environment.
