About the Role
Due to our rapid growth we have a requirement for an experienced Mechanical Fitter, who would like to gain more exposure to hydraulics to be based in our Carole Park branch. This person must be willing partake in a mix of field work and workshop requirements.
You will either have experience with, or be willing to learn and be responsible, for complete hydraulic systems and all affiliated components including but not limited to;
- Pumps
- Lineal and rotary actuators
- Valving
- Accumulators
- High force tooling
- Completing grease and fuel system installations
- Be working closely with and mentoring apprentices;
- Complete all administration of job records accurately and efficiently;
- Ensure that work is carried out to the highest quality level;
- Ensure that customer service levels are of the highest standard;
- Ensure continuous improvement to service levels and look for better ways to do things.
To succeed in these roles, you will have a disciplined and mature work ethic, as well as the ability to work unsupervised. This position does require a trade qualification in fitting.
