Position Overview:
As a Mechanical Tradesperson, you will play a crucial role in maintaining essential equipment utilized in the mining and resources industries. Your duties will involve inspecting, repairing, and preserving pumps and associated infrastructure to ensure optimal efficiency and safety. Located in the picturesque Mackay region, you'll be part of a close-knit team committed to achieving excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain pumps and pumping systems in the mining and resources sector.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to guarantee equipment reliability.
- Collaborate with the team to efficiently troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines, prioritizing a secure work environment.
- Possess a trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
