About the Opportunity…
MPS is currently sourcing skilled, experienced and motivated Mechanical Fitters to join our team. The majority of your work will be conducted on track mounted and stationary crushers, screens, conveyors, shredders, chippers, grinders, washing equipment and other like processing and handling equipment. Roles on offer include workshop based and Field Service with a mix of workshop and site work. Hourly rates between $50.00 and $60.00, plus higher rates when working over 45 hours in a week!
You core daily duties will include conducting maintenance, service, repairs, pre deliveries and troubleshooting on a range of mobile and stationary equipment, in line with OEM standards and requirements. Predominately, you will be working on mobile screening and crushing plant.

About you…
Qualifications / Tickets / Licenses:
- Certificate III in Mechanical Fitting/Mechanical Engineering/Heavy Diesel Mechanic or equivalent
- Full unrestricted ‘C’ Class Driver’s License – HR desirable
- Forklift Licence (desirable).
Skills / Experience / Abilities:
- A minimum 3+ years post training experience, with experience with heavy industrial mobile plant, mineral processing or bulk materials handling equipment
- Experience with reading and interpreting hydraulics and electrical schematics
- Be physical capable of performing manual tasks
- Must be able to pass a Pre-employment Medical and Drug and Alcohol screen
