Form of workPeter Ellsmore & Associates is a Wollongong based engineering and drafting consultancy that provides services to a variety of clients in the industrial, mining and construction industries across the Illawarra region and beyond.
With continuing strong demand for our services an opportunity exists to join our design team supporting our clients from one of our Illawarra offices. The position is supporting one of our clients in significant capital projects.
To succeed in this position, you will need to demonstrate;
- Relevant technical qualifications.
- Significant experience with Inventor 3D modelling and production of drawings is essential, ideally including Vault.
- Significant AutoCAD experience
- Excellent knowledge of mechanical, structural and heavy plate work design
- Able to prepare drawings & contribute to the design of
- General heavy industrial equipment
- Steel processing lines
- Mechanical & materials handling equipment, including but not limited to conveyors, hopper, chutes, material transfer systems
- Steel structures
- Plant Layouts
- Design experience associated with steel production, iron ore, coal, or other related industries
- Minimum 5-10 years relevant industry experience
- Ability to work with direction and supervision from engineer
- Familiarity with relevant Australian Standards
- Excellent communication skills
