Join our well-established Air Compressor company, based in Brisbane West, with over 16 years of expertise in sales, servicing, repairs, and installations of air compressors and compressed air equipment throughout South East Queensland.
We are in search of a dedicated and motivated individual for a full-time position as an Air Compressor Trades Assistant with the potential to develop into an Air Compressor Field Service Technician. The ideal candidate will take on the primary responsibility of conducting onsite preventative maintenance services, repairs, and installations for various air compressors and compressed air systems. The role extends to encompass general workshop duties as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform onsite preventative maintenance services for air compressors.
- Execute repairs and installations for various air compressors and compressed air systems, both within the workshop and onsite.
- Fulfill general workshop duties as required.
- Full training of machinery will be given to the successful candidate.
- Background in fixed plant maintenance
- Basic knowledge of air compressors and pneumatic systems would be advantageous but not required.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work effectively unsupervised or as part of a team.
- Well-presented with good communication skills.
- Must own a set of tools.
- Possession of a C class driver’s license is essential.
- Given the nature of the field service role, applicants must be flexible, open to travel, and available for regular overtime. This may include early starts, late finishes, and occasional after-hours call-outs or weekend work.
