Seeking an experienced Technical Writer to join on of our highly regarded mining clients.
Technical Writer
- Starting ASAP
- Monday - Friday, full time hours - 8 hour days
- WFH options available
- 6-12 month contracts - permanent positions available
- Welshpool office location, parking facilities available
Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining training resources in consultation with key internal and external stakeholders to meet the needs of the business within the mobile plant and maintenance department.
- Working closely with Senior Mechanical Engineers and Maintenance department
- Research, design and create maintenance procedures for mobile mining equipment
- Developing and maintaining training resources, assist with design, develop and publish training courses
- Conduct design reviews and structural analysis on LOP modifications, conducting design review and structural analysis on modifications
- Construct equipment builds and operational manuals
Requirements:
- 1-2 years' experience as a Technical Writer with in mobile plant and maintenance sector
- Must have knowledge of mechanical plant, equipment and machinery
- A background in heavy duty mechanical trade, reliability or mechanical engineering
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Extremely organised and eye for detail
- Must have excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Proficient with MS Office Suit
