Preference would be given to candidates who have excelled in mechanical work across a range of vehicles.
What will you be doing?
As part of our service department, you would be servicing and repairing vehicles, across a range of brands, while providing a “best in town experience” within our fast-paced, high performing, cohesive team environment.
Essential Qualities:- Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (minimum) or higher qualifications
- Current manual driver license
- At least 2 years of experience in mechanical work across a range of vehicles would be preferred
- Previous experience working in a Ford and/or Mahindra franchise workshop would be an advantage, but training provided to the right applicant.
- Able to work within a strong and flexible team environment
- Available to complete in house training and franchise training courses
- Energetic, organised and detail oriented
- Ability to follow established procedures and practices and read instruction, blueprints etc
- A strong commitment to all health and safety guidelines
- Aptitude in using various hand tools (screwdrivers, hammers etc.) and precision measurement tools (e.g. calipers)
- Commitment to correct reporting and recording of work and vehicle issues
