The Client
JK is partnering with a large local manufacturer in Ballarat who operate within the heavy vehicle manufacturing industry.
We are seeking Trades Assistants that have a strong mechanical aptitude and have had some heavy vehicle experience. These positions will be located at our client's Service Centre in Direk, South Australia.
The Role
You will be working onsite at the Trailer Repair Service Centre, responsible for a variety of tasks around servicing and upkeep. Having strong mechanical skills, confidence with a range of hand and power tools coupled with flexibility to turn your hand to a range of tasks across the factory, will see you succeed in this role.
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and confident experience with hand and power tools
- Previous industry experience is highly desirable
- Ability to read and interpret plans and designs
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A proactive approach to work and strong sense of initiative
