Mechanical Fitters/ Electrical Pump FittersMonday-Friday 8 hour days + possibility for overtime$60p/h base plus penaltiesOpportunity to go permanent with clientAbout the RoleÂOur client is a leading global water technology company committed to developing innovative technology solutions to the world's water challenges.ÂWhat you will be doing:Â Clean, strip, overhaul customer booster sets and products and provide quotations to customers for cost of overhaul prior to completion of repairs.Inspect and test products prior to dispatch to customers.Check stock, unload deliveries and check equipment received.Provide training to customers on new systems.Provide timely and accurate advice and support to staff and customers on service, workshop and product related issues both orally and in writing where required.Actively participate in audits for QA and EHS systems and practices.Confined space entry to retrieve pumps where required.Benefits:Initial 6 month role with generous pay package and opportunity to go permanent.What you will need:Trade certificate (Mechanical Fitter) - some experience working in a pump or engineering environment.White cardDrivers licence*Desirable: Forklift license, crane operators license, confined space accreditation and electrical disconnect/reconnect accreditation are desirable.
