About The Role
The Level 2 Medical Radiation Scientist (‘MRS’) is responsible for the provision of quality patient care whilst performing a range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the Department of Molecular Imaging (the ‘Department’), under the immediate direction of the Senior MRS. This involves the preparation and administration of radiopharmaceuticals, patient imaging, collection and analysis of data, quality control and recording data.
We are looking for someone who has...
- A Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Radiation Science) Nuclear Medicine, Licenced with the EPA and AHPRA Registration.
- Good comprehension of routine diagnostic Nuclear Medicine procedures including PET-CT imaging and a basic understanding of therapeutic procedures.
- A sound knowledge of radiation safety and quality control/improvement.
