Medical Reception Staff - Multiple Positions

RADIUS Imaging provides Medical Imaging services from sites in Waurn Ponds, Corio, Drysdale, Lara, Ocean Grove, and Torquay. We continue to grow and expand so seek multiple professional and highly motivated full-time Reception staff to join the team (Part-Time may be considered if candidate and situation is suitable). 

The successful applicants will be required to work across all RADIUS sites.

Key duties include:

• Greeting patients and registering their details in the IT system
• Attending to patient needs as required
• Answering incoming phone calls and making outbound calls to schedule appointments
• Produce invoices and processing payments, including Medicare, cash and EFTPOS
• Coordinate with internal technical staff regarding patient's needs
• Liaising with Referrers and other key external stakeholders
• Routine operating hours are MON-FRI 07:00-19:00, and occasional SAT 09:00-13:00.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following key criteria:

• Experience working in a very fast paced medical environment
• Excellent customer service skills
• Sound organisational and administrative skills
• The ability to prioritise tasks in a dynamic working environment
• High level of attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A sense of urgency where required
• Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft office suite of products and use of medical data bases
• Willingness to learn and improve
• Embrace teamwork and be able to demonstrate a ‘Can-Do/Will-Do’ attitude.

Experience and understanding of the medical environment is mandatory. Medical Imaging experience is not essential to the candidate with the right attitude and enthusiasm to learn.
