This role offers a great opportunity to complete your training as part of a small team of highly skilled professionals enabling you to receive dedicated and personalised training and support. You will benefit from exposure to a broad range of presentations, and regular education and training opportunities. Your role will provide leadership and coordinate care of patients within your unit under the supervision of the Senior Clinician. Opportunities are available in disciplines including:
- Haematology/Oncology Registrar
- Internal Medicine Unit Registrar - Physician led admissions (accredited for ACCRM Int Med AST)
- General Medical Unit Registrar - GP led admissions
- Better at Home (HITH/rehab at home/COVID at home/virtual ward) Registrar
- Rehabilitation Registrar (accredited with the RACP for AFRM training).
About Us:
We are a multifaceted and growing regional health system providing a comprehensive array of health care services to the East Gippsland community. The BRHS Medical Services Directorate is comprised of five clinical disciplines: Internal Medicine, General Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Rehabilitation Medicine, and Surgery; with a strong senior medical workforce enabling the provision of services across a broad spectrum of care.
Key criteria required:
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (or equivalent)
- Eligibility for General Registration (IMG's: AMC1, AHPRA level 3 supervision, eligible for provisional registration)
- Minimum 4 years of postgraduate experience in clinical medicine, including extensive experience in the Internal Medicine setting.
- Competence in advanced life support techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to provide safe and accurate medical assessment of patients and devise and implement medical management plans, in conjunction with the multi-disciplinary team and with support from senior medical staff

- Full-Time role with a base salary for a Registrar Year 1 to Year 6 and thereafter commencing on $125,892 dependant on qualifications and experience.
