Position Charter

We are seeking to employ an Outreach Consultant on a full-time basis to support our customers and manage our growing business in the state of QLD. While the role is intended to cover this states/territory, we welcome applications from candidates located anywhere in Queensland.

As an Outreach Consultant at HHI Australia, you will actively engage with existing customer pharmacists, prescribers, regulatory bodies, patients, and other supplier medical science liaisons within the industry. You will seek out new opportunities, closely track and report industry trends and regularly review territory strategies with your National Outreach Lead to achieve your territory goals. 

Scope and Responsibilities

  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, supporting growing pharmacy businesses in your chosen territory
  • Utilising day-to-day Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Microsoft-based tools for efficient communication to HHI National Outreach Lead, Warehouse Operations Lead and our customers
  • Contributing to the development, implementation and feedback of Health House medical education programs and materials. This will include delivery of high-quality Health House key messaging framework, with tailored presentations and educational sessions for our customers and/or prescribers to grow Medicinal Cannabis awareness
  • Providing professional medical expertise on Health House’s portfolio of prescribing/dispensing options to our customers and prescribers
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest legislative changes and evidence in optimal cannabinoid therapies for patient(s) chronic disease management (medical literature, clinical data and market trends); and
  • Understanding the TGA Approval process and supporting prescribers in the TGA Authorised Prescriber journey 

Experience 

Prior experience in Medicinal Cannabis access as an AHPRA registered health professional and/or pharmaceutical medical science liaison (MSL) is preferred.

Essential Requirements

  • Self-motivated to work under fast-paced pharmaceutical industry with ability to contribute to business strategic planning to meet designated territory goals
  • Effectively communicate Health House’s vision and key messaging to our customers and key stakeholders
  • Effectively communicate progress, and outcomes of current and future initiatives to National Outreach Lead and other teams within our business (as relevant)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with capability to tailor content and effectively communicate complex medical information to diverse audiences
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, networking and relationship building skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Willingness to engage with team activities and travel as needed to attend clinic/pharmacy meetings, conferences, and other relevant events 

Desirable Requirements

  • Interest in alternative therapies and plant-based medicine
  • Experience in business analysis and/or project management in collaborative team environments
  • A background in marketing and/or sales growth initiatives
