Based in Melbourne’s inner south suburbs (close to public transport) this collaborative, energetic and super fun team are closely connected to media representatives and influencers across the worlds of print, radio, TV & web-based communications.
The Opportunity:
Supporting a super busy but supportive and hands on General Manager
Be proactive of all news and trends in the industry, be on top of new and emerging media channels through attending industry events and conferences and through your own competitor research
Develop and maintain positive and productive working relationships with key influencers, media and suppliers
Ensure that client objectives are met through effective management of your campaigns
Oversee planning and strategy development for your client portfolio
Provide the highest quality PR services including: research, media monitoring, provision of media materials and overseeing media requests
Identify new opportunities within existing fashion, retail and lifestyle accounts
You will have regular client presentations to lead
Mentor and manage several Account Executives/Coordinators, and support the GM & Client Services Director.
You:
Will have at least 3-5 years experience in PR and have previously worked within a PR agency environment
You will understand the unique needs of retail, lifestyle, wellness or fashion clients
Have impeccable time management and communications skills
You will have a vast network of local media connections to bring to your new role!
Possess a highly personable and professional work ethic, as well as leadership skills!
