About the Role
The Member Services Communications Officer is an integral part of the ACT Chapter team, contributing to the Institute’s ongoing growth and supporting colleagues across the chapter. This role provides a positive member experience and delivers a practical, relevant and responsive member engagement program across the full spectrum of the ACT Chapter’s delivery. This role has a strong focus on communications, supporting events, chapter services, committee support and offering an exceptional member experience.
What you will bring
- Relevant tertiary qualification and/or demonstrated experience in events, marketing, sales or project coordination, preferably in a peak body or membership association
- Experience in working with or an understanding of the architecture and built environment sector and an empathy with design excellence
- Experience in customer service and client-facing roles, with a focus on administration, membership services and event support
- Experience in working with financial management and project budgets
- Strong ability using Microsoft Office applications - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Ability in using Adobe suite, Canva, website event management software, and HTML skills highly advantageous.
