Australian Childcare Alliance (ACA) Victoria is a peak body in Victoria’s early learning sector. We are fierce advocates for affordable, high quality and sustainable early childhood education. We provide support to members who own and run long day care services.
About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Membership Lead to oversee all daily membership operations at ACA Victoria. The Membership Lead focuses on efficient and successful member engagement, executing recruitment and retention campaigns, and driving engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate will be adept at preparing and analysing membership reports and industry data, and serve as the subject matter expert on our membership policies and database functions. This role offers potential growth opportunities, including building collaborative partnerships with corporate sponsors and establishing new external stakeholder relationships.
Key responsibilities include:
- Member services: being the first point of contact, managing the membership database, facilitating regular touch points and problem-solving member queries.
- Drive the development, implementation and processes to support the recruitment and retention of members
- Communicate effectively with members to meet their needs, leveraging an understanding of sector knowledge (desirable)
- Provide analytics and reports to stakeholders to inform continuous improvement in membership services
- Deliver agreed membership numbers and revenue in line with targets
- Travel to visit members as required
- Represent ACA Victoria at all functions and events
You will be an experienced administration/Membership Lead who has a passion for customer service. You will understand the customer journey, and be highly skilled in handling customer queries and problem solving their queries. Ideally you have proven experience in a peak body or membership organisation. You will be skilled at developing a rapport, be highly organised and have exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You will be happy to work onsite in Oakleigh with our small and friendly team. It is essential that you have a high level of proficiency in Microsoft office suite and have utilised a CRM in your previous roles.
