At The Memorial Hospital we realise how hard you've studied to get to this point. Taking the next step in your career is an important milestone. With us you can kick start your employment as an early career nurse or midwife through our comprehensive and individually tailored program. With full time or part time options available (minimum 0.8 FTE), our 12-month program is coupled with an additional Consolidation Year, to further support your transition to practice and develop your clinical skills and knowledge.

The Memorial Hospital has a long and proud tradition of providing outstanding private healthcare in North Adelaide. Established as a memorial to veterans of World War I, The Memorial Hospital has served the community since 1920. Our landmark heritage building is situated in the picturesque parklands, within one kilometre of Adelaide's CBD and within walking distance of Adelaide Oval.
The Memorial Hospital is committed to providing the highest possible standards of patient care, with 100 beds, Critical Care Unit and Medical Officers rostered on-site 24/7
In collaboration with our specialists, The Memorial Hospital offers a comprehensive range of medical and surgical specialties including, but not limited to, general medicine, neurology, neurosurgery, ophthalmology, otorhinolaryngology (ear, nose and throat surgery), orthopaedics, paediatrics, plastics and reconstructive surgery and rehabilitation (inpatient and day).

Registered Nurse
Registered Nurses at ACHA perform a wide range of activities in pursuit of delivering a high-quality patient experience. Every day is different and may include assessing patients, administering medications, providing wound care and educating patients and their families about health conditions. You will need to collaborate with other healthcare professionals, advocate for your patients and provide support to patients and their families. You will have the opportunity to continually develop, improve and promote best evidence-based practice.
