About the role
An exciting opportunity has opened up for a casual Memorial and Administrator to join our team based in Toowoomba. This role is an integral part of the team. We are looking for someone who is an all-rounder, that can assist with all facets of the business operations. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience and training in the crematorium industry.
This position will initially be casual with the view to transfer to permanent full time employment for the right candidate.
In this role you will:
- Assist in the transfer of deceased pets (85% driving required in this role)
- Carry out media administration duties, such as making urn labels and wrapping ashes, creating certificates/paw print/fur clip cards/ framed paw prints
- Assist in ordering of pet memorials and placement of cremated remains in selected memorials
- Assist with general reception duties, including answering phone calls and greeting customers
- Establish and maintain effective communication and relationships with key stakeholders
- Assist in stock management
To be successful in this role, you will need the following:
- Must be available for after hours and weekend on-call roster
- Previous experience using Xero is highly desirable
- Adaptable and flexible to change and a team player
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Proficient computer skills and able to use the Microsoft suit of programs including Word, publisher and outlook.
- Current drivers licence is essential with the ability to drive manual.
- Comfortable working in a crematorium environment
Prior industry experience is preferred, however training and understanding of the job duties will be provided to the right applicant.
