Western Sydney University is seeking a suitably qualified Mental Health Advisor (MHA) / Counsellor (registered Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist or AASW Social Worker) with extensive experience in the provision of wellbeing services to join the team.
MHA / Counsellors at Western Sydney University provide a range of services to students who need assistance with personal and academic related issues so that they are able to successfully complete their studies. As a MHA you will use a range of approaches in your practice including; individual and group consultations via a range of mediums including face-to-face, online and phone. You will also have extensive experience with complex Mental Health conditions, the management of these conditions and appropriate referral skills.
Your ability to deliver support in an ever-changing environment will be well regarded.
This is a part-time, ongoing position based at the Bankstown city campus, with relief travel to other campuses as required.

Registration with AHPRA, or AASW as a MH Social Worker is required for this role.
Remuneration Package: HEW Level 8 - $130,740 to $145,135 p.a. (comprising Salary of $110,477 to $122,641 p.a., plus 17% Superannuation and Leave Loading).
Note, the above salary range will be paid pro-rata based on 0.4 FTE.
