Mental Health Clinician (Women's Mental Health)

At Cabrini Women's Mental Health, we proudly operate Australia's premier private, women-only Mental Health service, housed within the Lisa Thurin Women's Health Centre. How you will make an impact as a Mental Health Clinician
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Clinician to join our dynamic team focused on Women's Mental Health. Your success in this role will be in your ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment, demonstrate flexibility, and provide exceptional care across three service areas: inpatient, day program, and outpatient individual therapy.

This rewarding position offers the opportunity to work within a dedicated team in a safe environment, with structured support and supervision to ensure your professional growth and development. The ideal candidate will bring a strong commitment to patient-centered care and contribute to our ongoing efforts to improve the Mental Health and well-being of the women we serve.

Desirable criteria:

  • Experience working in a hospital setting, preferably within private Mental Health
  • Demonstrated experience in facilitating and leading group therapy sessions
  • Proficiency in various treatment modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), ect.
  • Strong understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by women in the context of Mental Health
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Mental Health settings

  • Police Record Check.
  • Registration with relevant governing body.
  • Vaccination requirements
