An exciting opportunity is currently available for an experienced Clinical Nurse Consultant or Psychologist or Occupational Therapist or Social Worker - Senior (Mental Health Consultation Liaison Clinician - Headspace) to join the Child & Youth Mental Health Service at the Hervey Bay and Maryborough Hospitals within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. Eligible Applicants who move to Queensland from an interstate or international jurisdiction to take up permanent employment may receive up to $20,000 incentive payments under the Queensland Health Workforce Attraction Scheme ( https://www.healthycareers.health.qld.gov.au/attraction-incentives )

Your opportunity:

• Work collaboratively with headspace to support a seamless service experience for adolescents and young adults (12-25 years) with Mental Health and Specialised Services (MHSS) needs, accessing headspace services, consistent with a no wrong door policy and providing the right service at the right time.
• Maximise clinician availability and build essential relationships by being physically co-located with headspace, as much as is practical.
• Provide an important bridge to the broader state health system to improve access and decrease transitional service gaps

One Permanent Full Time (76 hours p.f.) or Two Permanent Part Time Positions (38 hours p.f.)

Prior to being made an offer of employment, you will be required to demonstrate immunity to the following Vaccine Preventable Diseases ( https://tinyurl.com/yc6pgyt2 )(VPD): Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (chicken pox) and Pertussis (whooping cough).

Our offer:

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $159,428 p.a. (f/t), comprising salary between $128,701 - $139,732 p.a. or salary between $64.91 - $70.47 p.h. (p/t) (Nurse Grade 7) or remuneration package value up to $152,776 p.a., comprising salary between $124,435 - $133,901 p.a. (f/t) or salary between 62.76 - $67.53 p.h. (p/t) (HP4), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (One Permanent Full Time, 76 hours p.f. or Two Permanent Part Time Positions, 38 hours p.f.).
