Join us in making a difference! As a disability Support Worker at Nextt, you'll play a crucial role in planning and delivering Health Support for our clients.
Nextt is seeking a passionate and reliable male Mental Health Support Worker to assist a client residing in Blacktown Hospital. You must have a minimum of 12 months experience supporting a participant with a Mental Health diagnosis and challenging behaviours.
Supports Times:
Tuesday 11am-2pm
Thursday 11am-2pm
Supports will take place on the grounds of the hospital with the aim of transitioning to community access supports in the future.
Opportunity for a permanent part-time contract will be considered after 3 months and in consultation with the client.
Your skills and experience:
Experience with Mental Health Support and challenging behaviours
Experience with autism awareness, behaviour supports
Requirements:
To thrive at Nextt, you'll need:
- NDIS workers screening check
- Working with children check
- NDIS Quality Safety and You module certificate - or willing to obtain
- Car with Comprehensive Insurance
- Drivers Licence
- First Aid - CPR
