Our people are the heart and soul of our business. Due to continuous growth, we are looking for a Merchandise Planner to join our Innovations Team.

THE ROLE:

The Merchandise Planner is responsible for the strategic planning to maximise the products/brand and ensure growth and profitability of the category. Working with a fun-loving team you will bring your merchandise planning experience ideally in fashion to this role.

RESPONSIBLE FOR BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Develop and execute merchandise plans in collaboration with the Fashion buying team to support the sales, margin and inventory plans for the Catalogue and Web portfolio. Prepare and present merchandise plans/forecasts/performance reports that highlight key insights and recommendations
  • Analyse historical sales data, category trends and product performance to forecast catalogue demand and identify opportunities for future growth
  • Monitor inventory levels, forecast recommendations for replenishment, markdowns and promotional activity, while continuing to focus on sell through to ensure the minimization of excess stock.
  • Analyse catalogue performance at product/class/brand/spread/channel to ensure future product assortment is in line with Strategic Plans to build growth and attract new customers
  • Working with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Catalogue and Distribution teams to ensure seamless execution of merchandise plans.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE:
  • 3 years' experience in same or similar roles
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload
  • Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment and hit the ground running
  • Detail oriented with a proactive mindset with hunger for success and driven by deadlines
  • Strong passion for Fashion with good understanding of market trends.
  • Professional attitude and work ethic
  • Highly organised, with a flexible 'Can Do' approach
