A full-time opportunity exists for a Merchandise Salesperson to join the E.E Muir & Sons team in Humpty Doo, Northern Territory. Reporting to the Branch Manager, in this role you will provide support in the merchandising duties of the branch, collate orders for dispatch, managing receivals and arranging merchandise deliveries to customers within the Humpty Doo area.
In this role you will have a good degree of sales experience built around product knowledge and providing support to our Agriculture customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Product sales and developing strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Being a key person in the merchandise sales team, along with providing support in the dispatch and delivery processes of the business.
- Working knowledge of WHS (Work, Health & Safety) requirements
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience working in a merchandise sales role is preferred.
- An understanding of agricultural services and products.
- Excellent customer service skills with an ability and willingness to build relationships with industry suppliers.
- Strong problem-solving skills, time / priority management and an ability to work independently.
- Relevant computer skills across the Microsoft office suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- A current drivers' licence is essential, a medium rigid (MR) truck license is also preferred but not essential.
- Forklift license required.
