Merchandiser

As our Merchandiser/Brand Ambassador you will be responsible for building Dy-Mark’s brand awareness by promoting the product range throughout Bunnings stores within the designated territory. The Merchandiser/Brand Ambassador is responsible for providing thorough training of Bunnings team members on the monthly product focus provided by the National Accounts Manager. Travel to store locations is a requirement of this role in addition to being able to perform the role autonomously with the ongoing support from the National Operations Coordinator and the National Account Manager. Occasional travel throughout NSW is required.

• Build and maintain relationships in specific retail outlets to ensure that Dy-Mark’s & RID’s products are consistently well received
• Train in-store Bunnings team members on new or existing products to make sure they understand the applications and advantages of Dy-Mark’s & RID Australia products and are equipped with the knowledge to maximise sales
• Create thorough in-store aisle selling plans and conduct demonstrations to improve customer awareness about the features and benefits of the Dy-Mark & RID Australia product range
• Report on activities in your territory daily to ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are being met and sales trends in your territory are being captured
• Complete a mandatory weekly call cycle to make sure all stores are appropriately stocked and serviced
• Managing inventory in stock positions and supporting replenishment of shelf stock as required.
• Delivering instore plans and conducting team member product demonstrations to improve customer awareness on the features and benefits of the Dy-Mark and RID Australia product ranges.
