Business growth has created the opportunity for business and accounting degree students to join a team of skilled, committed professionals in the role of M&A Analyst Trainee. Sunshine Coast location on a casual or part time basis.

The role has the potential to lead to future full-time employment with exciting career pathways.

DMA provides comprehensive training and mentoring to help you learn about transactions, including processing and analysis of client financials, assistance with preliminary pricing strategies, target research, assisting with due diligence processes and data room management and other ad-hoc analysis work.

What you will be doing

  • Preparation of comprehensive client financial analysis including:
    • Detailed P&L analysis
    • Working Capital analysis
    • Earnings multiple pricing analysis & strategy
    • Offer analysis
  • Assisting with target research
  • Communicate with clients & other professionals in M&A transactions
  • Facilitate and manage data rooms for due diligence

Required

  • Be a fast learner who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • Have strong interpersonal skills and a desire to become an integral part of a diverse and social team
  • Be proficient in MS 365 (particularly Excel), Copilot, MS Dynamics and related applications
  • Strive to continuously improve knowledge through ongoing professional development
  • Be confident in interacting with clients and other professionals in meetings, phone calls and via email with support from team members
  • Required to work with highly confidential information

Preferred 

  • Partially qualified in a business-related discipline – preferably business, finance or accounting
