About the Role:
We are currently seeking a hardworking and committed individual to join our team based in Penrith, to be a part of our site crew, as well as work in our factory when needed. This role is the perfect opportunity for someone with site experience in the construction or manufacturing industry to take the next step towards their career goals.
The duties and responsibilities of this position will consist of the following:
- TIG site welding and polishing stainless steel.
- Installing custom stainless steel products (benching, shelving etc.) and commercial food-service equipment.
- Handling site deliveries and transporting products and equipment on site.
- Communicating with builders, engineers, trades on-site etc.
- Driving to and from construction sites and jobs.
- Partially fabricating in our workshop.
We work for a range of large Building companies. so the role is best suited to someone who can work safely under pressure to meet strict project time-frames and quality standards.
About You:
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and qualities:
- Qualified and trade certified:
- Certificate 4 Sheetmetal Engineering.
- Construction Induction (White) Card.
- Forklift Licence is desirable. - TIG and MIG welding experience is essential.
- Ability to interpret shop drawings to precisely install kitchens, bars, cafés etc.
- An understanding of the fabrication process, terminology and documentation.
- Attention to detail within all aspects of work.
- Excellent time management, planning and problem solving skills.
- Understanding of Workplace Health and Safety processes and procedures.
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work in a team-based environment.
- Hold a current NSW Driver’s Licence.
