Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join our dynamic team. As a Sheet Metal Worker at G&R Body Fabrications, you will play a crucial role in fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal components for a diverse range of projects. From cutting and shaping metal to welding and finishing, you will utilize your expertise to produce top-quality products that meet our clients' exact requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine project specifications.
- Cut, bend, and shape sheet metal using various tools and equipment.
- Operate machinery such as shears, brakes, and presses to fabricate metal components.
- Weld and solder metal parts together to assemble fabricated products.
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure finished products meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and meet project deadlines.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Worker
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and processes
- Experience operating sheet metal machinery and tools.
- Ability to perform welding and soldering tasks with precision.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
