About the role: Metering Asset Engineer
Power and Water are looking for a Metering Asset Engineer to develop and implement asset management plans for electricity and water Metering Assets across the Territory, which optimise meter asset performance, risk and maintenance and capital expenditure.
We are looking for someone who holds a minimum 3 year Scientific or Engineering degree and has experience in an asset or maintenance management role within the energy or utilities industry.
The successful candidate will have highly developed asset management skills with a good understanding of the principles and practices associated with maintaining Metering Assets, including ISO55000 and AS1284.13 as well as working knowledge of the associated asset management and works management systems.
Well-developed oral and written communication skills are a must, to enable collaborative working relationships with a variety of metering stakeholders.
