Reporting to the MineStar Project Engineering Supervisor, the MineStar Project Engineer leads, plans, and coordinates a portfolio of client technology engineering works. From concept initiation through execution and closure, they develop necessary documentation and artifacts, ensuring compliance with cost, schedule, and risk management.
Regular planning meetings with Service Operations and project teams help identify required activities and schedules. Additionally, the MineStar Project Engineer supports Technology business proposals and deployment programs, generating initial specifications documentation, while also identifying, developing, documenting, and distributing changes throughout the project lifecycle.
Location: Perth Precinct (Perth Airport, WA)
Roster: Monday – Friday, 8.5 hour days
To be successful the following is required:
- Relevant formal tertiary or trade qualification (e.g., mechanical, electrical, electronic); OR significant industry experience
- Ability to engage with the broader team to solve complex problems
- Mine site operational experience
- Experience deploying technology in heavy industries
- Issue resolution and risk mitigation skills
- Customer-centric approach with excellent communication skills
- Strong organisational skills to manage deadlines and conflicting priorities
- Initiative, problem-solving abilities, and follow-through
