Due to growth and we have an opportunity for multiple new positions to join our Workshop and Turnaround Team, including Mechanics and Yard Hands. We are seeking multiple roles and experiences including
- Mobile Plant Technicians/Diesel Mechanics
- Yard Hands
The Turnaround Team Yard Hand roles are hands-on, supportive positions that work across all areas of operations and the workshop, focusing on the maintenance and repair of earth-moving equipment. These roles will also participate in various operational aspects, assisting with tasks undertaken in the depot associated with equipment and transport as well as providing support to the team in DIFOT (Delivery in Full On Time), all under the guidance of experienced mechanics.
About the Roles
The Mobile Plant Technicians/ Mechanics are responsible for the service and repair of Mobile Plant equipment on-site as well as in the workshop which includes preventative maintenance, fault finding, fabrication repairs, minor and major component rebuilds and breakdowns.
The Turnaround Team role are hands-on, supportive positions that work across all areas of operations and the workshop, focusing on the maintenance and repair of earth-moving equipment. These roles will also participate in various operational aspects, assisting with tasks undertaken in the depot associated with equipment and transport as well as providing support to the team in DIFOT (Delivery in Full On Time), all under the guidance of experienced mechanics.
These roles are perfect for someone who is reliable, eager to learn, and looking to develop a broad skill set within a hands-on workshop environment. Ideally the candidates would have previous mechanical experience or experience working in a similar environment. Skills and experience
The roles require skills and experience in the following areas.
- Holds a current driver’s licence
- Holds a current forklift licence
- Mechanical aptitude/Trade Qualifications
- Field service experience for the mechanics
- Minimum Certificate III in a Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent discipline (Diesel Mechanic).
- Demonstrated commitment to safety
- Attention to detail as this role involves a lot of detailing the machinery
- Demonstrated reliability and a strong desire to grow within the industry.
- A keen learner, adaptable to various workshop operations.
- Mechanical aptitude
