Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Montessori Educator with a Diploma qualification to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of Montessori principles and practices, as well as a genuine enthusiasm for working with young children.
Responsibilities:
- Implementing Montessori curriculum and activities tailored to the developmental needs of children.
- Creating a safe, supportive, and enriching learning environment that encourages independence and exploration.
- Observing and assessing children’s progress and development, and maintaining accurate records.
- Collaborating with colleagues and parents to support the holistic growth of each child.
- Participating in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education.
Qualifications:
- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent qualification recognised by ACECQA).
- Montessori training or certification preferred.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or ability to obtain one.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute positively to the centre’s culture.
