About the Role
The school is currently seeking applicants for full time position in our beautiful primary classroom. All successful applicants will need to be eager to work in multi-aged learning environments.
About You
- Montessori trained.
- Passionate about implementing best practice through Montessori education
- Focused on working as part of a team.
- Have Primary Teacher (TQI) Registration or eligible to gain teaching registration in Australian Capital Territory.
- Energetic with a collaborative approach
- You will have a valid Working with Children Check number, a current Child Protection Certificate, a valid First-Aid qualification (or be willing to obtain one). The successful candidate will be required to provide certified copies of their qualifications and transcripts prior to their commencement at Canberra Montessori School
- Experience working with students with additional needs e.g., behavioural support, learning support, social support, and emotional support.
- Sound oral and written communication skills, including the ability to interact with students, parents, and teaching professionals.
- Sound interpersonal skills including the ability to work as part of a team.
- Well-developed organisational skills that will assist in the delivery of effective educational programs to students.
- The ability to assist with the general well-being of students.
