AJL Heavy Equipment is a Tasmanian owned enterprise operating from branches in Burnie and Devonport in Tasmania and Melbourne, Victoria. We operate heavy machinery workshops (specializing in road transport and stevedoring industries) together with a comprehensive parts department. 

Our Burnie branch also incorporates both a Yamaha motorbike and Ironman 4WD Accessory dealerships. Our ideal candidate for this position is someone that could play a role in the Yamaha operations as a MOTORBIKE MECHANIC fitter but at the same time if it was you desire to be given the opportunity to work in our Heavy Vehicle repair workshops due consideration will be given to enable you to gain new skills in this area which could eventuate in gaining a qualification.

 The ideal candidate has:

• Relevant trade qualification (although not essential). Candidates who have significant MOTORBIKE MECHANICal experience or have partially completed their trade apprenticeship will be considered. 
• Current Driver’s license
• Ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Positive and can-do attitude
• Pride in their quality of work and attention to detail
• Self-motivation
• Sound communication skills
• Reliable and flexible work attitude
• Be able to work unsupervised.
