Our client, based in Artarmon, is a market leader in the design, manufacture and the supply of minerals processing equipment to the mining industry, both within Australia and throughout the world are currently seeking an experienced Machine Operators/ Molders. FORKLIFT LICENSE COMPULSORY. 5AM-1PM $39.53/hr, Monday-Friday. Overtime availableYou will be responsible for the safe operation of all of our machines, including horizontal and vertical borers, radial drills, manual lathes, mills and CNC machines. You will also carry out inspections and quality control on your own work and/or other jobs within the Machine Shop.• Actively participate in all activities including Safety Initiatives, Training, Tool Box Talks, Pre Start Inspections, Risk Assessments and team meetings.• Adhere to all WMA policies• Report any hazards, incidents or concerns to the leadership team.• Produce mould’s and cores with the highest quality by adopting trade skills and experience.• Execute tasks delegated to meet the daily production targets and be flexible in moving to multiple areas of the Beforecast Area.• Operate equipment such as overhead cranes, forklift equipment (if licensed), sand mixers, process equipment, portable equipment and a variety of hand tools• Ensure work area and equipment is kept in good orderTo be successful in this role you will have:A minimum of one (1) year experience in a manufacturing environmentHave good communication skillsBe Physically fit and reliableFORKLIFT LICENSE A MUSTWhat we offer:Exposure to a variety of different spectrums within the business - no two days are the same!Join a globally respected brand - operating in over 50 countries worldwide!Career development, including exposure to industry leaders and best practiceTo discuss this role in further detail please APPLY NOW and one of our consultants will be in touchAt Chandler Macleod, we are committed to fostering a diverse workforce where everyone is welcome.
