MPU (MMU) Operator - Saraji (Dysart/Moranbah Region)

Action Drill & Blast is the leading integrated drilling and blasting contractor in Australia.We have a positive team culture based on our core values of Safety, Integrity, Teamwork and Innovation and we provide our employees with a safe and friendly work environment.We are currently seeking applications from experienced MPU Operators for Full-Time positions on 7/7 rosters at our Saraji Project located in the Bowen Basin.Reporting to the Drill & Blast Supervisor, you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:

• Transport and delivery of dangerous goods (Explosives)
• Carry out loading operations under the direction of authorised Shotfirer
• Safe operation of the MPU truck
• Complete and submit in a timely manner all required explosives documentation
• Assist Shotcrew as required in preparation and tying in of the blast
• Carry out required inspections
• Maintain the MPU truck in a clean and tidy state
• Ensuring the security of both the MPU and magazine compound is maintained

Experience and Qualifications required:

• Operation of MMU/MPU trucks in a mining environment
• Previous experience as a Shotfirer’s Assistant.
• Current QLD 'HR' License.
• QESC
• RIIBLA203E - Conduct Mobile Mixing of Explosives
• RIIBLA201D (highly regarded)
