We are seeking an experienced and professional Full-Time MR Driver, based at our Wetherill Park branch, looking to take the next step in their career into E-Waste data and media destruction.
We are looking for an individual who is self-motivated, has a high level of problem-solving skills and has the ability to get the job done within the required time-frames.
Role responsibilities:-
• Decommission of computers and associated IT equipment as required
• Data centre decommissioning asset tagging, recording asset information accurately
• Ensure that a high standard of customer satisfaction is maintained throughout all active works.
• Demonstrable usability in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel
• Complete deployment reporting including, customer sign off and asset reports.
• Customer service focus and experience in a customer service environment
• Travel is expected as part of this role with flexibility to work when the customer requires – may include business hours, after hours, weekends – metro, regional
• Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure service vehicle is maintained and safe and clean for use
• Complete all service statutory related paperwork at the completion of each run
• Remain compliant with all policies and procedures including WHS
• This role requires some heavy lifting of IT equipment
To be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate the following:
• 1+ years driving experience
• Valid Medium Rigid (MR) Truck License
• Be able to comfortably work in a small but fast paced team
• Has experience in the safe handling of power tools
• Team player with the ability to establish priorities and manage competing deadlines for self and others
• Strong customer focus
• Safe manual handling skills
• Hard-working, punctual, and reliable
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instruction
• Have a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
• Be able to work autonomously and independently.
• Comfortable with Microsoft office - specifically MS Excel
• Have good commercial driving experience.
• Ability to ensure that service’s meet quality objectives.
• Strong communication skills – written and verbal.
• Good Time Management.
• Available for ad hoc overnight runs.
• PDA experience would be helpful but not required.
• Forklift licence would be desirable.
• an understanding of e-waste destruction would be advantageous.
