Multi-Skilled Operator - Night Shift

UGL’S Utilities team designs, constructs and maintains critical infrastructure across the water and power sectors. Ranging from wastewater treatment plants to power stations. We design and construct the following assets; power generation, transmission lines, substations, electrical distribution networks, water and waste water treatment plans and water pipelines.

UGL Utilities are looking for Multi-Skilled Operators on a Night Shift roster to join the Hunter power Project team.
The Hunter Power Project is the construction of a 660MW Power Station comprising of two heavy-duty open cycle gas turbines. Located in the in the Hunter Valley region of New South Wales, 35 km west of Newcastle.
About You:

• Previous experience operating a Truck, Forklift and Telehandler
• Basic understanding of machinery, electrical and hydraulic components
• Experience working on a power station or oil & gas projects
• Problem solving ability with a solutions orientation

Key Requirements:

• HR or HC Truck Licence
• Forklift Licence
• Telehandler Licence
• EWP ticket desirable
• Confined space ticket desirable
• Working with heights ticket desirable
• Construction experience desirable
• Heavy industry experience
