Our organisation:

Maranoa Regional Council is dedicated to implement new and innovative waysof improving services to our communities and have recently restructured ourorganisation. Five new Local Area Director positions have been introduced toimprove services and outcomes for our communities. The Local Areas are named afterthe pre-amalgamation shires; Bendemere, Booringa, Bungil, Roma, Warroo.Regional directorates include Corporate Services, Development, Environment andPlanning, and Engineering. The local operating structure enhances the deliveryof Council’s regional strategic planning. The Executive Leadership Team is supported by department Managers, Coordinators and Team Leaders who have responsibility for implementing policies and directions through their respective teams.

This role will require reference checks, medical assessment including drug and alcohol screen, driver's licence check and criminal history check

Suitable applicants will have:

• General Construction White Card
• Current Drivers Licence
• Experience in Plant Operator, civil construction, horticulture and/or local goverment
