About the role:
Reporting to the Production supervisor you will be responsible for safe and efficient operations of our fleet which includes:
- Graders
- Dozers
- Loaders
- Diggers
You are an operator experienced with:
- Operating at least one of plant equipment listed above within capacity of machinery.
- Ensuring plant is operated safely and in accordance with Company procedures.
- Ensuring plant is treated with respect, kept in a serviceable and clean condition, and operated safely in accordance with procedures and OEM specifications.
- Accident damage reporting
- Conducting thorough pre-start inspections on equipment and vehicles before use.
- Reviewing allocated tasks and suggesting improvements to carrying out the work.
- Participation in continual improvement activities.
- Participation in safety investigations and associated reports and recommendations and implement corrective and preventative actions.
- Conducting regular work area inspections
- Ensure plant is treated with respect, kept in a serviceable and clean condition, and operated safely in accordance with procedures and OEM specifications.
- Conducting thorough pre-start inspections on equipment and vehicles before use.
- Reviewing the tasks allocated and suggest improved methods of carrying out work.
- Participating in continual improvement activities.
Skills & Experience:
Essential:
- Prefer Multi Skilled operating experience in mining operations.
- Demonstrated positive safety leadership skills and safety behaviour.
- Ability to meet and exceed set targets

- Coal Board Medical
Desirable:
- Experience working for a medium to large mine operator/contractor
