About the PositionBased in Townsville, our Home and Community team provides in home support to older persons within their own home, allowing them the dignity and ability to maintain the life they choose. We are looking for a professional leader who prides themselves on taking their team along with the journey. Reporting to the Regional Service Manager, in this Senior Co-ordinator role, you will lead a Multi-Disciplinary Team of Anglicare Nurses, Allied Health Practitioners, Home and Community Client Liaisons and Team Leaders. You will be the organisation's senior leader in Townsville, responsible for providing a positive and collaborative culture, leading change, recruitment, training, ongoing support of the team and ensuring compliance to legislative requirements and standards. Your strengths as a leader will guide your team in a client focussed approach ensuring they deliver a high standard of day to day service provision to our clients. About You Degree in Nursing, Allied Health or similar field Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment (desired) National Police Clearance A current Driver License Demonstrated clinical aged care operational experience within a community services or similar organization Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of evaluation of in-home aged care and support services, Demonstrated ability to lead and work cooperatively in a team environment, including the ability to motivate and support others. Demonstrated experience managing the financial performance and sustainability of a healthcare, community or aged care service Demonstrated leadership capabilities including influencing and leading positive change management A focused and dedicated attitude to supporting staff, clients and families Strong problem-solving, decision-making and negotiation skills. Strong administrative, reporting and computer skills. An understanding of quality management and continuous improvement processes. Strong administrative and reporting skills; data and document control; computer programs including Microsoft suite Creative thinker who promotes this attribute within your team; ability to provide “outside the box” solutions Why Join Anglicare?
