OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY

To provide high-level multimedia design services to our clients. This role involves creating and delivering digital information, promotional content, event marketing materials, instructional resources, community engagement initiatives, and brand awareness campaigns through online and recorded digital media. This includes using static and animated elements such as text, images, video, and sound to effectively reach target audiences.

The Multimedia Designer's role is to use multiple mediums and visual effects (animations, text, and graphics) to explain a concept, engage with online audiences, and communicate narratives including Indigenous and non-English speakers with various levels of literacy. This can be in the form of multimedia presentations, moving stories, animations, and traditional multimedia such as animated gifs, HTML web banners, educational products, videos, and mobile technologies. 

This role is a degree-based position that requires expert motion graphics and illustration skills; UX/UI and Front-end web developing skills (WordPress, HTML, and CSS), 3D modelling, and animation skills.

The Multimedia Designer role has a salary of $70,000 per year + superannuation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Determine the objectives and constraints of a digital design brief against the desired deliverables and the specifications required for publishing multimedia content online
• Create and develop high-quality promotional artwork including but not limited to digital and online advertising, signage, logos, web and email banners, presentations, and digital marketing assets
• Think outside the box to create memorable and engaging campaigns that reflect the Campaign Edge Sprout brand and the innovative product offerings
• Cultivate and strengthen relationships with clients through successfully expanding the Campaign Edge Sprout brand and multimedia product offering into existing accounts 
• Interpret client briefs to create unique digital consolidated and seamless multimedia applications 
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assist with timeline management of individual briefs, ensuring key milestones are met 
• Work in a fast-paced environment independently or as part of a team, whilst maintaining brand consistency across a significant number of multimedia assets
• Maintain awareness of current industry and technology standards, social media, competitive landscape, and multimedia design trends 
• Work across special projects and liaise with other internal and external teams as required
• Implementation of Campaign Edge Sprout's existing brand guidelines 
• Utilise an online job tracking system (Streamtime) accurately for billing purposes
• Manage assigned projects from initial client briefing through to project completion
• Develop creative concepts and design/layout projects in line with client requirements 
• Prepare projects for production and liaise with sub-contractors when required
• Liaise and maintain excellent working relations with sub-contractors
• Attend client meetings when required and maintain excellent customer service. Complete job schedules
  accurately for billing purposes, including detailed information on project components (e.g. couriers,
  stock photo usage, colour copies)
• Complete jobs within quoted hours (liaise with Account Managers before exceeding quoted jobs)
• Maintain computer equipment (hardware and software)
• Maintain computer filing system on the server as per filing procedure 
• Regularly backup completed work as per the backup procedure
• Attend weekly production meeting (Mondays 8.30 am) with personnel work status report 
• Maintain neat work area and wider office facilities (including nightly lock-up)
• Assist in general office administration when required.

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

• Qualification in Multimedia Design
• Experience in MAC OS platform
• Minimum 5 years experience 
• Proficient in Adobe Creative suite
• Motion graphics and illustration skills; UX/UI and Front-end web developing skills (WordPress, HTML, and CSS) 3D modelling, and animation
• Sound understanding of design fundamentals
• Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills and technical  skills
• Troubleshooting ability
• Multimedia portfolio of work
