We are a growing team of digital experts working on progressive campaigns in Australia and around the world (including political, environmental and social justice campaigns). We are looking to build a strong core team for the long-run, and are committed to salary growth commensurate with company profit growth. We are looking for an experienced Multimedia Specialist to join the team in a full-time capacity.
Key responsibilities
Website planning and design
NationBuilder website development and maintenance
Graphic design for clients and business promotional material across a range of media, including:
Imagery
Video
Graphics
Animations
Graphic, web and user-focused design for app projects.
Required experience
Must have at least 4 years of proven experience planning and designing websites in a professional setting using the latest technologies, including the Adobe design suite.
Must have at least 4 years experience creating graphics, animations, video, stylised imagery and other multimedia for digital projects using best practice UX / UX principles.
Must have proven experience developing NationBuilder websites (at least 3 years desired).
Must have at least 4 years’ experience working with the following coding languages in a professional setting: HTML, CSS and Javascript.
Must have proven experience integrating information design, digital design, imagery, graphics, and coding to produce complete digital products for clients.
Must have experience working as part of a remote team, as a freelancer, or can demonstrate an ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Desired experience
Experience using the Liquid templating language is a bonus.
Experience working with nonprofits and/or campaign organisations desired.
Understanding of environmental issues is a bonus (this makes up much of our work).

Working conditions
We are a remote team, so work hours and location are flexible. However, the ideal candidate will be based in or near Melbourne, to enable semi-regular co-working with other key technical team leaders.
4 weeks annual leave, plus all public holidays and sick/carer’s leave, etc.
One week per year to pursue development opportunities of your choice.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
