SalaryWe currently have some unique Ongoing roles available within a Melbourne based Market leader in Road Network solutions. The Role will be to assist with a variety of Road Maintenance activities across the Melton Shire. This is a long-term contract that will create a sustainable, vibrant, safe, accommodating Melton for all. These roles will play a crucial part in response works for Roadside assets.
The duties will require assisting with Road Maintenance such as repairing damaged roads, repairing road signs, road markings and other related tasks.
General day-day activities would begin at the Yard based in Melton and packing your company truck with all relevant tools and materials and then heading to location in the Melton shire. Then assisting with various duties mentioned above to complete to a high standard and within specific timeframes
The ideal candidate will hold strong experience within a similar Road Maintenance role with a MR License highly beneficial in securing a more advanced and high paying role within the business.
The company in question has strong internal developments plans and so if you have the skills to start your career in this area; The company would upskill you to acquire relevant tickets such as MR License, Roller operator and more , to grow within your role.
This will be an ongoing role with current workload taking your position well into 2025 and beyond.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Assisting trades on site in a Road Maintenance setting
- Minimum 2 years MR Driving experience (In applicable role)
- Site clean-up and moving materials
- Strong experience of using power tools
- Ability to work on own accord without supervision
WHAT YOU'LL GET
- $32.59-$42 per hour + super (Dependent on relevant tickets and experience)
- Additional meal allowance (over 9.5 hours on a shift)
- Additional daily travel allowance ($21.19)
- Time and a half and double-time rates paid for overtime
- Weekly pay
- On-going role

Key requirements needed to apply:
- White Card
- MR License (Highly desired)
- Roller Ticket (Highly desried)
- Full Australian work Rights
- Must be able to work well within a team environment.
- 12 months construction experience
- Own transport is highly desirable but not essential
- Full PPE
