Juniper is growing and we are recruiting multiple experienced and skilled Multiskilled Domestic for our Roving Workforce who are available for work Monday to Friday. The ideal candidates would have the capacity to be flexible to work across a number of our Residential Sites across North and South Metro to cover planned and unplanned leave.
Domestic Catering - to provide assistance in the kitchen, preparing food, assisting with meal services and keeping the kitchen area clean and compliant with food safety requirements.
Domestic Cleaning - to ensure that all areas of the site are kept hygienic and presentable, contributing to a comfortable, welcoming environment for residents, staff and visitors.
Domestic Laundry - to ensure that all linen and residents' clothing is appropriately laundered and returned them.
On offer for the successful candidates will be a Full Time or Part Time position and only applicants with No Work Restrictions are encouraged to apply.
You will have a ‘base site’, but when required, will be contacted by a member of the Rostering team and allocated to an alternative site. Travel allowance will be paid, based on Enterprise Agreement rates, on any day when you are required to travel a greater distance than you would to your regular base station.
You’ll need a current WA/Intl Driver’s Licence and a reliable vehicle.

Key Responsibilities of this role:

• Preparing and presenting breakfast, serving of lunch and dinner
• Provide kitchen hand services at our facility that include; preparation of food, modifying food texture, apportioning food accurately and serving food to residents
• Cleaning of cooking areas and equipment to a high standard
• Provide cleaning services including vacuuming, emptying rubbish bins, dusting, wiping surfaces, maintaining the cleanliness of residents’ rooms, windows, toilets, bathrooms and communal areas
• Attend to residents’ laundry including the washing of residents’ clothing according to manufacturers’ specifications
• Ensuring bed linen is stripped, laundered and labelled correctly
• Demonstrate a high level of respect for residents’ property and privacy
• Safe use of equipment and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Adhere to Juniper's policies and procedures relating to Occupational Safety and Health

The Skills, Knowledge and Experience required:

• Previous experience in a commercial cooking environment or in aged care (Essential)
• Previous experience in a commercial laundry environment or in aged care (Essential)
• Previous experience in a commercial cleaning environment or aged care (Essential)
• Knowledge of relevant chemicals and safe handling practices and procedures
• An understanding of infection control procedures
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
