We've been engaged by a large Australian financial institution to provide resources to their Murex Development/Testing team working on a wide range of projects from regulatory engagements, to binary upgrades to providing testing services for *VA regression through to progression testing following a binary upgrade implementation
Our client has made a strategic decision to implement Murex market risk module for VaR and FRTB (ES/IMA) calculations. This project will require business analysts to assist in the build and configuration of a new market risk moduleLuxoft have been engaged on this multi-year risk module implementation and will be supplying developer, risk BA and testing resources to help our client with their aim of replacing their legacy market risk system for Murex 3.1 ERM module.Joining this program you will have the benefit of working with an established client team, fully involved in the project initiation (POC of the market risk vendor platform) through to project implementation, not only for the Murex asset but also upstream systems , such as the managed market data service provider.Responsibilities

• Works closely with users in understanding requirements to enhance existing functionality
• Often works individually in resolving issues, and in coming up with and delivering solutions that meet the user requirements and are not detrimental to system performance
• Works on providing solutions that meet the requirement and are strategic and not tactical in nature, for example, works on actively reusing existing formulaes instead of creating new ones and at the same time think and plan of a roadmap of how to improve things.
• Liaises with the technical support team, with other business support teams, and with the Murex vendor where and when required
• Escalates identified issues / risks in a timely manner to IT and Business managers
• Provides detailed information about issues to the vendor, and co-ordinates with them in testing fixes / solutions
• Ensures documentation and deliverables are consistent with defined standards

SkillsMust have

• Candidate needs to be a MxML expert with basic understanding of Datamart. The candidate needs to have basic knowledge on Unix scripting.
• Has strong analytical and problem solving skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with business users and the vendor
• Has a very good knowledge of Murex MxML and all the associated workflows
• Is a thought leader in Murex Back office, has demonstrated experience of the same where he/she lays the roadmap for other team members to follow
• Has the ability to work under pressure to resolve critical issues and meet project deliverables
• Collateral Knowledge

Domain knowledge :

• Should possess an understanding of financial markets
• Basic knowledge on financial instruments such as Commodities, Interest Rate Derivatives, Credit Derivatives, Currency Derivatives, Swaps, Futures, Options, FRA, etc.

Nice to have

• Advanced unix scripting, End of Day exposure
• Exposure to CI/CD / Version control for Murex
