Job description

Trinity College is a multi-site, independent, co-educational Anglican College founded in a liberal educational tradition in northern Adelaide. The Music Administrator is a critical support and administration position within the Music Department. They work closely with the Director of Performance and the Director of Instrumental Music. Supporting the instrumental music program is the largest component of the position.

The Music Administrator role is vital to the smooth and efficient running of the Music Department. The successful applicant will be an efficient, ‘can do’ person with excellent interpersonal skills. They require office experience, sound computing skills and an interest in music.

The position is about a 0.84 of a full-time position. It is nearly full time during term time with 4 weeks during the term breaks. The normal hours are 8am to 4pm. This position will commence as soon as possible.

To be considered for this position you will have proven experience in:-

  • Office Administration and the provision of quality customer service
  • Intermediate level computer skills
  • Willingness to be flexible, adaptable and learn/undertake training
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills with necessary cultural sensitivity
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
  • Forward planning skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Patience; calmness under pressure and volume 

Whilst not essential, experience working within a school is highly desirable.
